Woman in Black is getting a sequel
Riding on the success of Woman in Black, the highest grossing British horror film in the past 20 years with a nice round $120 million, the Hammer studios have decided to make a second one. Take that straight to the bank, Susan Hill!
Susan Hill the author of the original novel and source material for Woman in Black has confirmed that she will help pen the sequel entitled Woman in Black: Angels of Death. The sequel is planned to be set 40 years later in the same house where Radcliffe took up residence in the first film.
Jon Crocker, the story editor of films such as Attack the Block, The Iron Lady, and the first installment of The Woman in Black will be writing the screenplay.
